3G is pretty new and costly in India. Indian’s who prefer speed to cost are the ones currently using it, and I don’t blame them. But being able to monitor your bandwidth should be as simple as downloading a large file.

And that’s where this beautiful application comes in.

Swype for S60 and Android Devices

QWERTY has been the king of smartphone text input and it still remains as one of the most primary text input methods on smartphones. There’s a new contender now for text input for smartphones. Swype, which has been developed by Swypeinc(incidentally they were the makers of T9 dictionary on phones too!)allows you to type your messages by sliding your finger on the letters and tracing a path to form the words. Well take a look.

Now that you’ve sen how easily you can type on your smartphone, I’m sure you’ll be wanting to download this app. the Swype application is currently in beta stage.

S60V5 users:

Some Android devices get the app pre-installed. Go to Input Methods under Settings and select Swype as the default input method.
